Icod de la Vinos bans consumption of water because of excess fluoride levels

Icod de los Vinos Ayuntamiento has banned the consumption of water in nine areas of the municipality because of excess levels of fluoride, four times the recommended maximum. The areas affected are El Amparo, La Vega, Cueva del Viento, Lomo Las Lajas, La Patita, El Pedregal, Los Piquetes, La Florida and Fuente de la Vega.
