Long term lets available and wanted
I occasionally get emails from people looking for long-term tenants for their properties, and more frequently from people seeking long-term lets. I am more than happy for people to use this page to advertise any private long-term lets available, or for those who are seeking accommodation.
There are just three rules:
- only private individuals seeking or letting in their own right
- only in Tenerife
- only three months or more
Post your requirements/property to let as a comment in the box at the end of the page, and I’ll summarise and add the details to the main text. Either provide your own contact details or ask people to contact me – I’ll forward any enquiries/responses.
Please let me know when your property has been let/you’ve found accommodation. I can then remove the details so that what is shown is known to be up to date and accurate.

I’ve been reading your commentary on the fire with interest and applaud you for the calm and efficient manner in which you kept people informed. I have not posted any messages because of the importance of more urgent matters you have dealt with. However, my wife and I will be arriving in Tenerife on the 31st July and I would like to take advantage of your new “service” of assisting with long lets.
I am in touch with some of the agents on the island and will be viewing properties on arrival but if any of your readers have any one or two bedroomed properties for long term rent in the area surroundng Las Americas/Costa Adeje for around 500 euros per month we would be glad to hear from them.

Looking for a long-term let for me and my husband in the north of the island. A detached house or finca but in a quiet location. We are renting at the moment but it is on the market and could be sold at any time. We have no animals and live very quietly & privately.

A lovely 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment in Los Cristianos available for long lets. The apartment has a 42″ Panasonic Plasma flat screen TV – music system – dvd player with lots of dvd’s available – large freezer – Internet connection and safe.
The apartment is on a very quite residential complex. There is a 22 sq mt furnished terrace, from which there are fantastic panoramic views across the whole of Los Cristianos from the mountains out to the sea, it is a beautiful scene, especially at night. I would prefer a mature couple, but would consider possibly four people.

The studio is close to all amenities including supermarket, car
rentals, hairdresser, internet cafe, bars, restaurants, shops and bus stop. Bus service runs every 30 min. to Los Cristianos, Las Americas and Los Gigantes.

Thanks Janet. Unfortunately, the house would not be suitable for somebody who has difficulty with stairs as it is on 4 levels so there are a number of stairs to negotiate.

Hi Janet, saw your comment re area. We have been to Costa Adeje (Torviscas) and narrowed the search to that area. Yesterday (22nd Dec) my wife received her Visa appointment for 16th Jan ’13. Our leaving date, all being well, will be around this time. If so, I expect to be in Tenerife, 24th or 31st Jan. We arrive on the Cadiz ferry, which only gets in Thursdays at 6pm.

One bedroom apartment in Lagos de Mirazul II, Calle Jose Reyes Martin,El Medano one block (100 metres) from Cabezo beach, and a five minute walk from the main plaza / town beach. The building has secure gated access, a lift, and is purely residential (not touristic) and quiet.
It has an open-plan kitchen / dining / *living room, a double bedroom, bathroom, and a separate utility room. It also includes a parking space in the underground garage , with lift access (nb this is very important because a lot of the time it is virtually impossible to find a parking space in El Medano !).
This apartment has recently been re-furbished with brand new furniture (sofa, double bed etc), kitchen appliances (Teka ceramic hob, Bosch oven etc), modern built in storage, computer desk, and flat screen TV etc.

Plase let me know if you, or someone you know have a studio flat to rent “BUT MUST BE IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA ONLY” Not a hotel nor central/noisy areas.
It is for a mature very clean careful lady, who wish to see first the areas, then stay every year for 4/5 months in the apt of her choise. For start just a studio, then it could be apt, with 2 beds and sofa bed for the long term, from november this year. I preffer the studio flat tp be in the area of playa del bobo…. This is very close to playa fanabe’ I been near there- and it looks tranquil, and cery clean and quiet!
I used to live in a noisy area in Las Americas, and in los Cristianos – & don’t want this ever again!!

Spacious, fully furnished 2 bedroom ground floor apartment within the Parque don Jose, Costa del Silencio. Parque don Jose is a very quiet complex with beautiful landscaped gardens, a 50 metre swimming pool and is a popular residential complex of mostly British, Spanish & Belgian owners.
This is the largest apartment in the complex and is on the ground floor providing good accessibility. Located near to entrance so no long walk through complex and is quieter section than apartments located by the pool.

My Husband and I are looking for a nice modern two bed furnished property on a long term rental, initially for 6 months with a view to extend, from July 2013 anywhere between la Calleta and Los Cristianos but not too far up the hills! Hi, we have an apartment with garage space to let in Buzanada in a quiet building with lift but without a pool. The apartment is currently furnished and has 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet, separate kitchen, lounge and balcony with blinds. It is 5 mins from Los Cristianos, and on a regular bus route with supermarkets, restaurants and shops nearby. The views are towards the sea and the mountains, with rural views in front. The apartment was our home for 5 very happy years whilst we refurbished an old house.
