Update 23 March: Arona Ayuntamiento has issued a reminder that this is now the final week of registration. Those who would like to run but who haven’t yet signed up need to do so by the 29th at the latest. Details of how to register are below.

Update 5 February 2015: The inscription period opens today for participants to register, and they can do so until 29 March. The form for registration is HERE, though runners can also sign up at Los Cristianos’ Pabellón municipal de deportes, or Guzmán Sport in La Laguna, or Mundi Sport in Puerto de La Cruz. Prices for registration in the official inscription period are €13 for the 10.8km race and €18 for the 21km (there’s a small discount for federated athletes or “corredor plus” cardholders). Late registrants who sign up between 30 March and 6 April will pay €22 and €25 respectively. As normal, runners will collect their numbers and runner’s bag on 11 April, the day before the race, between 10am and 8pm at the Rambla de Las Galletas, where there will also be a sports-related fair.

Original post 31 December 2014: 2015’s Las Galletas half marathon has been announced. It will take place on 12 April, and runners can register from 5 February. There will be more detail in due course, I’m sure, though the format is well established by now, and in the meantime the official website is HERE, and above is a video from Arona Ayuntamiento of last year’s race.

  1. I have heard so, but can’t actually confirm it myself. I understand that one can still register today, though, because it’s when they’re giving out the runners numbers and packs in Las Galletas.
