Arona en colores fiesta in Las Galletas 2 June

‘Arona en colores’ (Arona in colours) is the name of a fiesta that will be held next Saturday, 2 June, between 6pm and midnight in Las Galletas. Arona mayor, José Alberto González Reverón, says that it’s a “multiclour urban fiesta” which is intended to revitalize the area’s commerce. Among the activities on offer will be an exhibition of traditional fishing practices, and an exhibition of old photographs of Las Galletas. There will also be a dog competition, gymnastic and skating displays to music, children’s activities, and a prize draw of two cheques of €300 to be spent in the town.
