A charity buffet with entertainment will be held in the Cozy Cafe in the CC Pueblo Canario in San Eugenio on the evening of Saturday 16 May to raise funds for Helping Hands in Tenerife, an association which helps disadvantaged and disabled children in Tenerife.
As I say on the Charity in Spain page HERE, the word charity can be misleading here, and to be genuine and officially recognized, an organization must either be an asociación or fundación. Helping Hands in Tenerife is a registered asociacion, and so can legitimately be called a charity. Its cause is also an excellent one.
The buffet and entertainment will start at 6.30pm and places are limited, so if you would like to go, be sure to get a ticket. They are available from tomorrow, 23 April 2015 in the Cozy Cafe, for €12, half price for children. There is also an event page on Facebook HERE for those who are interested in more information or confirming attendance. Helping Hands in Tenerife itself also has an asociación Facebook page HERE and a main website HERE.
