Diver dies at Playa de la Vista

A 30-year-old diver said to be a foreigner in Spain died just after 1.30 this afternoon at Playa de las Vistas in Los Cristianos. Emergency services were called out with reports that he had been pulled unconscious from the water and that a beach lifeguard was trying to resuscitate him. Paramedics took up resuscitation attempts but tragically they were unable to do anything for the poor man and he was sadly declared dead at the scene.
