Arona Ayuntamiento’s Culture Department has announced a series of events in August for all the family. The programme – Diveragosto (FunAugust) – is in three parts: open air cinema screenings throughout the municipality; water activities in the borough’s main plazas; and fun workshops in libraries.
The water activities will include bouncy castles, water slides and foam parties, and will be held Mondays and Wednesdays between 4.30 and 7.30pm from tomorrow 1 August. The locations are detailed HERE. The crafts and reading workshops will be held in libraries in Los Cristianos, La Camella, Valle San Lorenzo, Cabo Blanco and El Fraile, and specific details about dates will be found there.
There will be twelve open-air cinema screenings, three funded by Fundación CajaCanarias and the remainder by Arona itself. They are free to the public, and will be held at 9pm from this coming Friday, 5 August. The dates and locations, and films, are as follows:
