Update 19 February: More water supply cuts have been announced for Playa de Las Américas from 8am until around 3pm on Monday, 22nd. Again, Canaragua apologises for the inconvenience, which is to carry out works on the general supply network to improve the overall service. The company says that water reservoirs will again be available for those without tap water while works are ongoing.
Update 17 February: In addition to today’s cuts (as below) to the water supplies in Arona, the council has announced more tomorrow, Thursday 18th, in Playa de las Américas. The whole area is set to be affected between 8am and 3pm, and Canaragua apologise for the inconvenience, saying that they are working to improve the network, and that water reservoirs will be available for those without tap water while works are ongoing.
Original post 16 February: Arona Ayuntamiento has announced that Canaragua will be cutting domestic supplies tomorrow, Wednesday 17 February, between 8 am and 2pm for works to the network. The following areas will be affected: Buzanada, Los Migueles, Llanos de Guaza, Ctra. Gral. TF66 Buzanada-Guaza, Cho, Los Parlamentos, Los Fondos Quemada, Ctra. Gral. TF655 Guaza-Las Chafiras, Cañada Blanca, Cañada Verde, Malpaso, Los Bebederos, and Benítez. The company has supplied the following map of the general area which will be affected, and says that it will try to minimise the disruption and complete the works as soon as possible.
