La Laguna “Out of Stock” sales campaign 1-8 September with goods at cost price

If you haven’t picked up a bargain in the sales so far, there’s another chance in La Laguna at the beginning of September when shops in the central commercial area will be holding a Fuera de Stock (Out of Stock) sales campaign in which they will be selling goods at cost price. The campaign lasts from 1 to 8 September and apart from normal shop hours, the stores will stay open on both Saturday afternoons and on the morning of Sunday 2nd.

Retailers in the area say they hope to liquidate their stock and recoup some investment prior to arrival of the new season’s supplies to take them up to the Christmas period. The campaign has the approval of the Ayuntamiento, whose concejal de Economía, Empleo y Empresa, Juan Antonio Alonso, said that in the current economic situation and given the success of the previous Fuera de Stock campaign in March, the Ayuntamiento approved the decision in order to help small and medium sized businesses in the Zona Centro.
