Man’s body found in basura room near Sky Park
A man’s body was found in a basura room in Calle Castilla shortly after 3pm this afternoon. Calle Castilla is the road that goes from the roundabout up to the Sky Park in Torviscas. The man is said to have been 46 years old, and a foreigner. Emergency services were called out when the poor man’s body was found but once at the scene, paramedics could do no more than confirm his death. The Policía Nacional are carrying out the customary procedures, and no doubt there will be further information in due course.
Whenever I’ve parked my car in the car park up there I’ve seen a chap through the basura railings, nearly always asking passers-by for money.
I think this casualty may have been a man who lived amongst the rubbish?
In any case, it’s always such a pity when one hears of a death, I hope there’s someone somewhere who’ll miss him & grieve for him.
