Spanish health and food agencies warn of Salmonella affected batch of baby milk

It’s unlikely to affect anyone reading this, but just in case …

The National Epidemiological Centre has notified the Spanish Food Security and Nutrition Agency that some baby milk on the market is at risk of being infected with Salmonella. Particularly at risk, it seems, is batch 23 of the brand Blemil Plus 1 Forte.

According to Sanidad, the manufacturers have recalled any unsold tubs of the baby milk even though there is no analytical confirmation of Salmonella infection, but anyone who has bought one should not use it. The batch has an expiry date of August 2012. C7
