Two motorcyclists have died in north Tenerife in the last 24 hours. Yesterday morning emergency services were reporting a collision around 7.20am between a motorbike and a car on the TF5 near Guamasa, La Laguna: its 35-year-old rider was so badly injured that paramedics were unable to help him and he died at the scene. The 24-year-old driver of the car was transferred to a medical centre where she was treated for non-serious neck injuries and shock.

And now this morning, there has been another fatality in another motorbike-car accident in Paseo Las Araucarias, La Orotava. Again, the rider was so badly injured that paramedics were unable to help him and he was declared dead at the scene. There is no information about the car driver.
