Woman gravely ill after being knocked down in Las Chafiras

A 68-year-old woman is critically ill after being knocked down by a car in Las Chafiras this afternoon. The accident took place on the TF-652, the Las Chafiras to Las Galletas road, but near the retail centre. She was stabilized by paramedics and then taken by ambulance to Hospiten Sur. She was subsequently transferred to Candelaria Hospital, where she remains gravely ill.  C7
