Adeje end of the motorway to be down to one lane for a month due to roadworks

As of Monday 13 July, the Adeje end of the motorway heading towards Los Cristianos will be reduced to one lane. The slow lane will be closed for 350 metres from the Atalaya roundabout and the feeder lane from the Armeñime road will be shut off. This is in order for works to be carried out to remove the hard shoulder and resurface as part of the motorway extension. Works are expected to last a month. Drivers who approach the motorway from the Armeñime road are advised to take the back road through the industrial estate, which will be signposted as a detour. I suspect that there could be considerable queues for a while here.  Diario de Avisos
