Adeje Mercadona to close for a month for refurbishment

Adeje’s Mercadona, in Las Torres near Makro and Lidl, is to close for refurbishment between 3pm on Saturday, 17 February and Thursday, 22 March. Shoppers are being redirected to the nearest Mercadonas in the area which is in Gran Sur, but there are others such as the one in the CC San Eugenio and the new large one in the CC Parque Santiago VI in El Camisón. I look forward to seeing what my local shop looks like after its refurb!

  1. Suggest you try the new HiperDino in the shopping centre in El Galleon; a very nice supermarket 😀
Mind you if you go to the Jesuman cash and carry in Alcala it is very good value!

I agree, that HiperDino is very nice, in fact that whole mall is a favourite these days! Can you just use Jesuman as a member of the public, snowy?

  3. It seemed to be possible when we were in Alcala. We asked out of curiosity if the public could shop there and we were waved in enthusiastically. We didn’t buy anything but had a good look around and resolved to go back.

  4. Hi Janet , do you know anything about Casa Fuerte in Adeje.. are there any plans to renovate it . The reason i ask is , the new carpark close by is nearing completion and i think i heard that the castle was being worked on also.
    Many thanks Mike

yes, as I posted HERE. I don’t have the actual detail on the form of the renovations.

  6. The Lidls in Puerto de la Cruz is closed for renovations until 23rd February. There is a great one at El Toscall as an alternative or in Los Realejos with a Mercadona opposite. I’m sure most of the people in the North know this but thought I would post this anyway.
