One of the big events during the Adeje Gastronomy days during this month takes place this Saturday, 14 November, with the Degusta.me (try me) fair in the town’s Plaza de España where more than 30 stands hosted by bodegas from all over the south of the island will be taking part. There’ll be cocktails courtesy of the Tenerife Barmans Association, and sweet treats, cheeses, breads, cakes, a huge variety of tapas, crepes, and much much more. The public buy their Degusta.me tickets and then pick their tapas, and buy a glass to go on to sample many of the lovely local wines on offer.
The fair also marks the start of the annual Tapas Route, which will run from this Saturday until 29 November, and between the two events organisers plan to serve over two thousand tapas to members of the public. The Degusta.me Adeje 2015 Ruta de la Tapa will involve 26 establishments, and the public can vote for their favourites, with a prize draw for those who take part – the prizes are an overnight stay in a Tenerife Iberostar hotel and a meal for two in a participating establishment. The tapas route runs until the eve of San Andres (see HERE) and will end with a Show Cookery demonstration in the Adeje Farmers Market.
