Update 8 December: And we have another calima. I’ve just checked Aemet, which confirms it, but it was evident anyway from the wind that was howling from the east last night, at some altitude too coming down at us from the crater. Everything’s all over the place in the garden this morning, and it’s still quite breezy … and as dusty and dry as bones.
Posted 2 December: If you’re thinking it’s become a bit warmer, and that the air seems dusty somehow, you’d be right. We have a calima, thankfully a mild one, which arrived yesterday, but will only last for today. It will start to disperse tomorrow making for a slightly misty weekend.
