AENA commits to free drinking fountains and €1 bottled water in airports throughout Spain

Spanish airports authority AENA has committed to installing drinking water fountains in Spanish airports and to setting a maximum price of €1 for bottled water. The move comes after complaints about the excessive prices being charged for basic products, and water in particular, throughout Spanish airports, and after the Defensor del Pueblo (Ombudsman) investigated the case, a move which has now forced AENA’s hand.

  2. They are fortunately reacting on the „pressure“ from the EU Commission and from the tourists. We are looking forward to the same measures of other European Airports.
