AH1N1 (swine) flu vaccination campaign starts Monday 16 November

As posted HERE, the AH1N1 (swine) flu campaign will begin today. Already, 88 people have died in Spain from the virus. Health Centres throughout Spain will prioritize groups thought to be at risk, thought to account for around 20% of the population.

These are health and public sector workers, those with chronic cardiovascular and respiratory illnesses, diabetics, the morbidly obese, and those suffering from kidney problems, anaemia, and immunodeficiency conditions. Pregnant women also fall into this category, though these will have a particular form of the vaccine which does not have adjuvants, and which will be available within three or four days after medical authority approval.  Canarias24Horas
