It’s an annual event, evidently, because it’s basically a religious celebration. The main centre for the Corpus Christi carpets is in La Orotava, despite Adeje’s popularity, and the La Orotava celebrations are starting tomorrow, and the carpet itself can be viewed on Thursday in the Ayuntamiento square. It’s well worth a visit.
