Another cayuco arrives at Los Cristianos as two others taken to Gran Canaria

Just four days after a day of arrivals unprecendented in recent years, we have another three boats heading for the islands. Emergency services say that in total they are carrying 129 men, and two of the boats have been taken into Gran Canaria with the third to Los Cristianos. Although some of the Gran Canaria arrivals needed medical assistance for dehydration and hypothermia, all the 63 on the cayuco brought into Los Cristianos are said to be in good condition. They, like all the others, now enter the processing procedures while wrangling continues over where they are to be housed meanwhile.
