Arona’s Christmas-New Year 2012 programme has now been announced, and like Adeje and Guía de Isora, it all starts now! The programme is not easily viewed in list form, but is full of cultural events to appeal to residents and visitors alike: please click HERE for the pdf version of the full leaflet.
The Ayuntamiento is also taking children’s Christmas events around its various areas throughout Christmas. These will be held in Guaza, La Camella and Guargacho on Friday 7 December; in El Fraile, Las Galletas and Cabo Blanco on Friday 14 December; in Guargacho, Buzanada and Valle San Lorenzo on Friday 21 December; and in Los Cristianos, Arona town, and Parque de la Reina on Friday 28 December. There will also be a range of workshops with a Christmas theme, whether homemade greetings cards, Christmas table centrepieces, or Christmas decorations. For more information on all these, please ring 010 if calling from inside Arona, or 922 761 600 if outside.
A Christmas concert will be held on Saturday 22 December (they don’t say at what time) in the Plaza de la Pescadora on the front near the harbour, and of course there will be the traditional and hugely popular parade of the three Kings from the ferry on 5 January.
