British holidaymaker dies of heart attack in Los Gigantes

A 70-year-old British man died of a heart attack on Sunday evening in Los Gigantes. Emergency services were called out around 10pm with reports that he needed help, but sadly prolonged attempts to resuscitate him were fruitless and he was declared dead at the scene. He and his 60-year-old wife had been on holiday in the area for the last three weeks.

It’s quite likely, but the police are clear that the man was British.

  2. Can you advise – last Sunday ,but in the early evening ,a man from Denmark collapsed and died on the street in Puerto Santiago. This took place at the rear of the Hotel de Caesar. Paramedics spent a good hour trying to resuscitate him without success. His wife who was with him was comforted and helped by a couple staying in an apartment block overlooking the unfortunate incident. Could this be the same incident?
