For just one night only, the complete works of Shakespeare are on offer in Cabo Blanco. In Spanish, of course, as part of an initiative by the Cabildo, and offered by the Morfema performance company tomorrow, Friday 8 October, in the Civil Centre at 8.30pm.
Not quite the complete works, perhaps, and not entirely without a tongue firmly in cheek, but some of the most famous Shakespearean passages will be performed, and will give all expats, whether or not they can speak Spanish, a chance to see and hear how Shakespeare translates into Spanish.
The performance should last for just over an hour, and is intended to capture the magic, the genius, and the grandeur of Shakespeare’s works. TinerGuía
