Canarian birds of prey photo exhibition popularity sees it extended to Friday

Updated 21 March: This exhibition of birds of prey photography has been so popular that the council has announced it will be extended until this Friday, 23 March instead of closing yesterday as originally planned. The exhibition is open to the public between 8am and 3pm, and from 4pm to 8pm.

Original post 26 February: Guía de Isora Ayuntamiento has announced that Jesús Palmero and Nicolás Trujillo, the authors of a new book Aves rapaces de Canarias (Canarian birds of prey), will present their work in the town’s Cultural Centre at 7.30pm this coming Friday, 2 March. The presentation will be hosted by well-known Tenerife writer Ángel Vallecillo. To accompany the book’s launch, there will be a photo exhibition in the Cultural Centre until 20 March of the wonderful and beautiful birds featured in the publication.

  1. Yes, the photos are fantastic, the exhibition is on until the 20th of March. Go see it.

  2. Thank you for alerting us to the Raptors of the Canary Islands, photographic exhibition, in Guía de Isora. We went today, once we gained entry through the firmly locked doors (!), it was wonderful, and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in these beautiful birds. The photography is stunning! Does anyone know where we could buy the book?
