This is the new logo for the Parques Nacionales Canarios (Taburiente, La Palma; Garajonay, La Gomera; Timanfaya, Lanzarote; and Teide). The logo is called “Inspiring Colors” and it was chosen in the competition overseen by the Consejería de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Medio Ambiente del Gobierno de Canarias to represent the four emblematic natural spaces in the Canaries.  The eventual winner from seven finalists was chosen by public vote. The design is by Pedro Olivares Lozano, and it will now go to the Comisión de Parques Nacionales Canarios for final approval. In the meantime, the winning designer wins the prize of €5,000. The design is explained HERE, on the competition website. PV
