Easter brings two public holidays next week

Just a reminder that there’s a three-day week coming up next week, with Thursday 24 and Friday 25 March being Easter public holidays throughout the Canaries. There is no Easter Bank Holiday Monday in Spain, so the week following Easter weekend is a full one. Next Thursday and Friday, however, most shops and businesses, and all public offices, will be closed. Indeed, the whole week is Semana Santa (Holy Week), and so many places will operate limited hours and restrictions. For the full list of national, regional and local public holidays in Tenerife in 2016, please see HERE, and there is information about the Adeje Pasión (Passion Play) HERE and Guía de Isora’s Pascua Florida HERE. The more general Easter programmes post is HERE.
