In my opinion, El Sauzal is one of the prettiest places in Tenerife, with views that could hold their own with anywhere in the world. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s also where the island’s Casa del Vino is, an old Canarian vineyard now the official centre for Tenerife’s world famous wines (see HERE).
It also has a newly improved church square since the Cabildo has now formally handed over the completed works in the Plaza de San Pedro. Tenerife President, former mayor of Guía de Isora, Pedro Martín and El Sauzal’s own mayor Mariano Hernández here discuss the works, and future plans … but the pictures speak for themselves anyway!
If you haven’t been, we can go out and about now, and that Casa del Vino is very well worth a visit, but you won’t get out without buying something because the shop full of Canarian produce is world class!
