The Food Truck Fest this Saturday, 30 July, won’t just bring fast food and jazz to Los Cristianos, but also magic, children’s shows, and Beatles and Queen tribute acts. Arona says it’s the first event of its sort in south Tenerife, and it will take place in the plaza del Pescador outside the Cultural Centre. The food on offer, too, won’t just be burgers but innovative and quality fast food with an international flavour, including Canarian, Dutch, Indonesian, Mexican and American. The Food Truck Fest will run from 12.30 lunchtime to 11pm.
The event is organized by Arona Ayuntamiento’s Economic Promotion Department, and will offer four food trucks, tables and benches, and sun parasols. Food will cost between €3.50 and €5 per portion, and there will be a range of craft beers costing between €1.50 and €2.50 on offer, as well as ice creams. Children will be able to enjoy their own area, open until 8.30pm, with bouncy castles and face-painting.
There will be some road restrictions as outlined in the graphic below: in particular the roads around the Cultural Centre will be closed between midnight of the 29th until 2pm on 1 August. The full poster for the event is also below.
