Updated 25 May: With Fenautica 2016 coming up, the Tenerife Cabildo says that the boat Peter Pan will offer a “ferry” service for tourists and locals from the port of Los Cristianos to Marina del Sur for €4 one way for adults and €2 one way for children under 12. Details are on the poster immediately below.
Some 7,000 visited Fenáutica 2015, the Cabildo says, and the event will once again showcase the island’s connections to everything related to the sea. During the two-day festival, visitors will have the chance to participate in a variety of water sports including jet skiing, kayaking and paddle surfing as well as learn how to scuba dive. There will also be an opportunity to see the latest yachts and sailing boats and to swap flippers for dancing shoes to make the most of the sound ‘waves’ of DJ Tecnosurf.
Original post 28 April: The fourth “Guanche Cup” regatta, Fenautica 2016, will be held on 4 and 5 June in Las Galletas. The previous three occasions have been great successes, and this year is likely to be so as well. There will be a huge marine fair with many exhibitor stalls, food counters, music, competing yachts, charter craft, and much more. It’s a genuine sea fiesta which organizers hope will appeal to residents, locals, visitors, tourists, adults, children, and sports people. There is further information on the Marina del Sur website HERE, and the following video will hopefully give a taste of last year’s Fenautica, and how it’s an event not to be missed!
