If you thought it was just the Brits who loved “real ale”, think again! Santiago del Teide Ayuntamiento is preparing to host the first ever Gran Fiesta de las Cervezas Artesanas – Great Festival of Craft Beers – in Los Gigantes’ Plaza Buganvilla on Saturday 26 May from 1pm until midnight. There will be craft beers on offer from various Canarian cervecerías as well as traditional and typical Canarían foods and live music.
Makes of beers will include Tacoa, Vagamundo, Chutney, Agüita, Fiera, Jeito, Tierra de Perros, Canarias Viva or Larrancadilla, all great examples of the quality that craft beers can achieve through natural and traditional manufacturing and fermentation processes.
The event will also feature guest brands from Fred Olsen Express, Brewdog, Red Bull Energy, Ron Barceló or Pepsi Max, and attendees will also be able to watch the retransmission of the Champions League final while they taste the different beers and enjoy the gastronomic products on offer at the festival.
