Guía de Isora fiestas patronales have a fight night of boxing tomorrow, and a dog show and arts & crafts fair on Sunday

As part of  Guía de Isora’s Fiestas Patronales there will be a fight night of boxing in the Church Square from 9pm tomorrow night, Saturday 8 September. The XXIV Velada de Boxeo will have seven bouts, six amateur and culminating with a professional bout between Cristian Rodríguez and Aleksandrs Rirkenbers, and will be held from 9pm in the old casco’s main Church Square, the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de la Luz.

The fiestas have been going on since last Sunday when the triathlon literally fired the starting gun. They go on until Saturday 22nd, and as part of the same fiestas, apart from the boxing there are the two doggy paddling pools in Alcalá and Playa San Juan over the weekends 8-9 and 15-16 September respectively. This Sunday, too, there is a dog show from midday outside the Cultural Centre in Guía de Isora town itself, and the increasingly famous Arts and Crafts Fair all day from 10am around the Church Square (details HERE).
