Guided walk through Las Charcas de Erjos

It’s an area that’s relatively unknown, but to me the Erjos pools between the municipalities of Santiago del Teide, El Tanque and Los Silos are one of the prettiest parts of Tenerife, and Arona has organized a hike there on Saturday 27 June as part of its series of walks. The Camino de Las Moraditas. Erjos, Charcas de Erjos, Monte del Agua, Las Moraditas and Los Silos is a 12km walk, of average difficulty, and should take around 5-6 hours. It’s on 27 June, and leaves the Los Cristianos cultural centre at 8am, and places are limited to 35 so those interested need to register between now and this Friday, 19 June. To register, either go to an Arona SAC office,  or online with Modelo 940 HERE. The cost of the walk is €12. For more information call 922 761 600, or 010 from within Arona municipality.

Here is a video of the area that has been uploaded to youtube, which gives a great idea of what this gorgeous area is like.
