In Tenerife, they will visit Santa Cruz, going first to the Cabildo to learn about social projects and to meet with organizations and businesses involved in promoting employment, and then to the Canarian Government for an official lunch in their honour given by Canarian President Fernando Clavijo, followed by meetings with business leaders and arts and sports representatives.

Later, they will move on to the University of La Laguna where they will visit laboratories of the Tropical Illnesses Institute and the Maths Faculty, where the King will take part in a ceremony celebrating the University’s 225th anniversary.

The visit will be shown live from 10.40am on Tuesday morning on the Cabildo’s channel.
