Leonids meteor shower peaking overnight on Monday

The Leonids meteor shower will be peaking on Monday 16th but will be visible from now for several nights. The shower is not the most spectacular, but occasionally one year in many produces a good show, and this year visibility is said to be excellent. Just look generally ENE after midnight and you should see them radiating from Leo (not too far below the Plough/Ursa Major) but visible anywhere in the sky. There are just a couple of meteor showers left this year now, both next month – the Geminids on the 13th and the Ursids on the 21st.
