Loro Parque has announced that after being closed since March last year it will reopen with the start of summer on May Day, Saturday 1 May. Those who bought an annual pass, however, which they were unable to use last year will be allowed in from 29 April. Initially at least the Parque will be open between 9.30am to 5.30pm on Thursdays to Mondays, and covid measures including capacity restrictions, masks, distancing, etc will be in place. Returning visitors are likely to find many features of the Parque have been refurbished during the closure, with new garden areas and spot presentations available throughout the Parque.
