Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and Adeje Ayuntamiento put on fantastic summer outdoor concert in Golf Costa Adeje

Updated 14 July: And in the end, it was fantastic. On a cool summer evening ranks of seats were set out on a close-cropped green driving range on a beautiful golf course with a view of the entire Costa Adeje to one side and the cloud-topped Roque del Conde on the other, and a world-class orchestra and superb soprana treated the audience to a medley of arias and overtures from Verdi, Rossini, Gounod, Bizet, Jiménez and Chapi. A drone flew overhead capturing images but the stage and the views to its sides commanded all attention. The videos below will give a flavour of the experience, and the council has an image album HERE on Facebook with photos of what, it transpires, was absolutely correctly billed as “the concert of the summer”!

Updated 10 July: There are free transport arrangements for the concert in Golf Costa Adeje this friday, with shuttle buses running from 7.30pm to and from the Coral Hotel suites in La Caleta and the Adeje School of Music in the town. They will also return to those spots from 10.20pm afterwards.

Original post 20 June: There will be a fantastic outdoor summer concert in Golf Costa Adeje on Friday 13 July. The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra itself will play as the sun sets during the open-air musical treat, under the baton of Jader Bignamini, and sporano Davinia Rodríguez. Tickets are just €15 and on sale now : Tomaticket.es

  1. Hi Janet

    Kind regards

  2. I have tickets for the concert on 13th and wanted to know if you can take your own food and alcohol, is it a seated venue or do you take picnic blankets.

Full seating for all, and a bar there … no food allowed. I think it will be wonderful, looking forward to it myself, but it’s not Glyndebourne 😉
