The company, an joint initiative of the Tenerife Cabildo and Canarian Government, will be holding auditions this coming Tuesday, 20 September, from 7pm in the Sala de Cámara of the Santa Cruz auditorim. Participants will be required to sing a lassical Italian aria of their own choice.
Those attending need to enter via the reception situated in the parking underneath the auditorium. They should be over 18, and before midday on Monday they should send an email to email@example.com stating their full name, date of birth, phone number, a résumé of their musical experience, and a digital copy of the score of the aria they will be auditioning.
Ópera de Tenerife’s new season will start next month, and the programme will include Donizett’s Don Pasquale, Bizet’s Carmen, Bellini’s Norma, and Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffman (Los cuentos de Hoffmann). Further performances will include a symphonic choral concert and a homage to Maria Callas.
