The internationally renowned Tenerife Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2015-2016 season, with more than 50 works to be performed in some 18 concerts between 2 October and 24 June next year. One of the keynote concerts will be Mahler’s ninth symphony, headlining a series of performances of the Bohemian-Austrian composer’s symphonies. The OST will also offer a Shostakovich mini-cycle with symphonies 9, 10 and 11. For the more classically modern tastes, a pop-rock concert will be dedicated to Queen.
Tickets for all concerts will be available from 22 September priced between €16 and €33 (between €13 and €26 for the over-65s, and €11-€23 for the under +-26s). Information on all performances, and the OST itself, is on the orchestra’s new website HERE.
