Petrol prices in the Canaries fall in March

I’d thought, though without firm evidence, that it had become a bit cheaper to fill the car up lately, and now it has been confirmed that petrol prices ended March with a fall of 4.5% in the Canaries compared with February. The average price for 95 octane, the most commonly bought, is €0.967 euros per litre, down from February’s €1.013. Diesel fell too, down 3.7% to €0.891 a litre. The figures are more favourable for the province of Tenerife than that of Gran Canaria, so the figures are often lower than this here because they reflect an average of the two provinces. Nice to have something pleasant to say about petrol prices for once!
