Santa Cruz marathon 2018: runners have just three days left to register

Updated 1 November: Organizers have reminded runners that if they have not yet registered for their race, they only have three days left in which to do so: inscription closes at the end of Sunday 4 November. Once registered runners’ numbers and participant packs will be handed over between 11am and 9pm from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 November at Edf La Lucha on the corner of Calle El Pilar and Calle Suárez Guerra in Santa Cruz. Anyone collecting on a runner’s behalf needs THIS authorization to be signed and taken to the collection.

Updated 20 August: Marathon organizers have reminded potential participants that they have just 11 days to register at the promotional price before standard prices start to apply on Friday 31 August. Registration is through the official website HERE.

Original post 12 May: The starting pistol hasn’t been fired but the flag has been raised for this year’s Santa Cruz marathon on Sunday 11 November, the fifth time the race has been run. As in previous years, the route will be divided into different length courses of 8, 21 and 42 km, all passing through or by the city’s main squares and monuments. The marathon has a Facebook page HERE, a twitter account HERE, and a main website HERE. Registration opens at midnight this coming Tuesday, 15 May.
