It was inevitable, really, and no-one will be surprised that the Santa Cruz Marathon won’t take place this year. Organizers expressed their appreciation of the support they’ve received in recent months from athletes, institutions and fans but say that because of the health and social crisis generated by the covid19 outbreak, this year’s event cannot take place. The next Santa Cruz marathon will be on 14 November 2021.
