Update 13 September: Mercifully, no-one was seriously injured in this accident yesterday. A 60-year-old man was taken first to Hospital del Norte and then to HU with multiple but non-serious injuries, and three other people were attended on the spot for minor wounds.
Original post 12 September: Several people have been injured as a car lost control during the Subida La Guancha rally earlier today. There is no official word yet as to how many people needed treatment nor the extent of their injuries, but the accident comes in the wake of a tragedy in A Coruna in northern Spain within just the last week when seven people died, including a heavily pregnant woman and two teenage girls, as a car spun off the road. The video above is from Informe Bolorino of the accident in today’s rally in Tenerife.
