Original post 14 February: It’s been a long time coming, but there will be snow on Teide at last … at least that’s what is forecast. The forecast is for light rain turning to snow above 1,800m with temperatures between 13º and 21º below that level. Northeast winds will be moderate to strong. For the following few days, we can expect cloud with light to moderate showers, particularly in the first half of the day. These will, hopefully, leave the usual coating of snow on Teide’s cone.
