
The Orquesta de Música Contemporánea de Adeje will be giving a Concierto de Primavera in the Magma Centre tomorrow, 27 April, at 8.30pm. The 40-piece orchestra, which was formed in 2007, is based in the Escuela Municipal de Música de Adeje, near Mercadona in Los Olivos, and comprises music teachers and advanced students. Known for being innovative and exciting, the orchestra interprets music as diverse as Ennio Morricone, Michael Bublé, Copla (traditional folk music), and much more. The Spring Concert is intended to bring the orchestra to wider public notice and provide a different cultural experience. Tickets cost €15 (€8 for empadronados in Adeje and music school students).
