Street theatre group Burka Teatro brings new drama “Cosas del XVI” to Guía de Isora

After its success last season with Romeo and Juliet, street theatre group Burka Teatro returns to Guía de Isora with a new drama: Cosas del XVI. The performance is less a single enactment, as in the case of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and more a dramatised heritage route through the historical centre of the town looking at the foundation stories behind some of the area’s monuments and buildings. The performance is again backed by Guía de Isora Ayuntamiento’s Culture Department, and will take place on Saturday, 12 May, from 7.30pm starting at the main church square, the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de la Luz. There is a Facebook page for the event HERE.
