Surrey police ask for help to locate man in Tenerife wanted for sexual attack on holidaymaker in June

Surrey police have asked for help to locate a man thought to be in Tenerife who is wanted for sexual assault. Police say that the attack they are dealing with took place on 19 June this year but was only reported after the victim returned home to the UK. The photo attached is an identikit of the man who is black, in his 40s, around 5’9″ tall, muscular, and with a tattoo on his neck. Police say that at the time of the incident he was “wearing a black over the shoulder ‘Nike’ bag which had ‘Nike’ written in white on the side with a white ‘Nike’ tick”.

Surrey Police Detective Sergeant Michael Queally says “We are keen to identify the man in this e-fit, we have also provided a description of him to help with identifying him. Although the alleged offence took place in Spain, Surrey Police officers are investigating as the offence was reported once the victim had returned home.
