The Telegraph has chosen its top 8 small museums in Spain and Tenerife’s TEA (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes) in Santa Cruz is in the list. The Telegraph says that it’s a dynamic centre with a permanent collection focused on Oscar Domínguez, a contemporary of Dalí and Picasso, and himself regarded as one of Spain’s leading Surrealist artists. The gallery also holds temporary exhibitions – there are 5 this summer – as well as film screenings and other cultural events. TEA’s website is HERE.
The Fundación César Manrique in Lanzarote also makes the list, which is HERE, and which was compiled by “destination expert” Annie Bennett, as part of a series identifying the best small exhibition centres throughout Europe.
