Thieves attack shipping company employee and get away with €6,000 in Los Cristianos harbour

Police are seeking two individuals who carried out a robbery yesterday morning in Los Cristianos harbour. The thieves got away with €6,000 after holding up a Trasmediterránea employee who was heading to the bank with the company’s takings. The man was assaulted and threatened with a knife as he approached his vehicle in the harbour grounds, but once in possession of the money, the robbers thankfully caused him no harm and fled in a Citroën C2 which was found a few hours later by Arona Policía Local behind the Antonio Domínguez Alfonso stadium in Playa de las Américas.  El Dia
