Three British men arrested in San Miguel for cocaine dealing

The Guardia Civil has arrested three British men on suspicion of cocaine dealing. Police say that the three are between 19 and 29 years old and were stopped in their car in San Miguel municipality in the early hours of last Sunday. When they appeared nervous the vehicle was searched, and a small purse containing a substance later confirmed to be cocaine was found as one of the three was trying to dispose of it without the officers noticing. The purse held five cocaine doses each of a gram, and another 22 half-gram doses. The drugs and some €200 were seized, and the three are being processed through the Granadilla Courts. The arrest comes as police in the north also apprehend a cocaine dealer in Puerto de la Cruz.
