To go or not to go, an easy question to answer as Scandinavian Airlines announces new connection between TFS and Copenhagen

It wasn’t long ago that Ryanair announced a new connection between TFS and the Basque Country¬†and now Scandinavian¬†Airlines (SAS) has announced its own new connection between TFS and Copenhagen. The regular scheduled flights will be on a weekly basis starting on Sunday, 29 October, and additional flights will be available over the Christmas period. Tenerife president Carlos Alonso expressed his delight in a conection that will allow visitors from Denmark, who comprise a rapidly growing market, to travel without needing to buy a package holiday here, and who will therefore be good for Tenerife’s tourism economy since they will be more likely to eat in local restaurants, hire cars locally, etc.

It works in reverse for us, too, of course, with now a regular flight to this lovely city, the home of the world famous Little Mermaid, as well as Carlsberg, “probably the best brewery in the world … “! And who could visit without a day trip just north of the city, to Kronborg Castle, better known as Shakespeare’s Elsinore, home of Hamlet! One could almost paraphrase the bard’s Prince of Denmark – to go or not to go, that is the question. But that’s one question with a very easy answer!
